Leading industry body and provider of supply chain, resource management, and purchasing education apics has since 1963 been providing individuals and organisations with a professional forum to acquire skills, gain knowledge, network with like-minded professionals, and stay in touch with recent industry developments.

In 2011 apics was the driving force behind The Fresh Connection National Challenge, and once again apics will have an association with the 2012 event as an industry partner.

As a result, apics members will receive a 10% discount when registering in the national challenge, with details of this to be circulated through apics communication channels.

"In 2010 we at apics were excited to launch The Fresh Connection into the Australian marketplace as an exceptional experiential learning opportunity for Australian companies,” said Annette Sando, apics Victoria president.

“We are delighted to be maintaining an ongoing association with the initiative as a benefit for our members.

“Staying relevant with modern and innovative ways to educate supply chain professionals is key to apics objectives. Therefore we will continue to invest time and effort in providing our members with unique opportunities to develop and learn."

The National Challenge Commences on 16 April 2012.

The Fresh Connection is proudly supported by MHD Supply Chain Solutions, Transport & Logistics News, 3pi, apics, GS1, Swinburne University, and Focus Press.
