    The Caterpillar 336 GC is a 35-ton class crawler excavator designed for heavy-duty applications such as mining, quarrying, and large-scale earthmoving projects where reliability and fuel efficiency are key priorities. Powered by the Cat C7.1 ACERT engine delivering approximately 194–195 kW (259–261 HP), it has an operating weight ranging from approximately 33,900 kg to 36,500 kg depending on configuration (undercarriage, track shoes, and attachments). The standard bucket capacity is 1.88 m³ (2.46 yd³) with an HD bucket configuration. It offers a maximum digging depth of 7,520 mm (24.7 ft) and a maximum digging reach of 11,050 mm (36.3 ft). Transport dimensions are approximately 11,170 mm (36.6 ft) in length, 3,190 mm (10.5 ft) in width, and 3,170 mm (10.4 ft) in height. Equipped with an advanced hydraulic system delivering 559 L/min main flow, a large 600 L fuel tank, and a comfortable cab with an 8-inch touchscreen monitor, the 336 GC delivers excellent fuel economy, reduced maintenance costs (up to 15% lower than previous models), and proven durability for demanding job site conditions.
