SEM 922F is a heavy-duty motor grader in the 17-ton class, positioned above the 920F model for more demanding applications. It is designed to deliver a powerful blend of precision, efficiency, and durability for large-scale earthmoving and road maintenance projects .
It represents an upgrade within the F series, featuring a more powerful engine and robust components to handle tougher tasks while maintaining low operating costs through Cat-inspired technologies .
Engine Power: Powered by an SDEC SC9D220G2 engine, it delivers a net power of 162 kW (220 hp) at 2,200 rpm .
· Operating Weight: The operating weight is approximately 16,640 kg, providing excellent stability for heavy cutting and grading .
· Transmission: It features a powershift transmission with 6 forward and 3 reverse gears, allowing for a maximum forward speed of 40 km/h .
· Hydraulic System: Equipped with a PPPC (Proportional Priority Pressure Compensating) load-sensing hydraulic system with a variable displacement piston pump. This ensures smooth, precise, and predictable blade movements regardless of engine speed, reducing fuel consumption .
· Frame Articulation: The frame articulates up to 20 degrees in either direction, contributing to a tight turning radius of about 7,800 mm for excellent maneuverability in confined spaces .
