The XCMG XE380DK is a heavy-duty 38-tonne class crawler excavator engineered for high-intensity working conditions, widely deployed in quarrying, open-pit mining, bulk earthmoving, stockpile loading, highway subgrade construction and large infrastructure projects. As one of XCMG’s flagship export models in this tonnage segment, it is built around a mature and reliable powertrain and positive-flow hydraulic architecture, balancing powerful digging performance, stable endurance and competitive running costs. The machine has gained consistent popularity among overseas contractors, mining operators and equipment rental fleets for its strong structural durability and readily available global spare parts support.
The standard operating weight of the XE380DK reaches 38,200 kg. It is factory fitted with a versatile bucket ranging from 1.9 m³ to 2.3 m³; customers can select general earth buckets for loose soil handling or reinforced rock buckets for hard rock and blasted stone loading. The standard track shoe width is 600 mm, while 650 mm and 700 mm track shoes are available as optional upgrades. With the standard 600 mm tracks, the average ground pressure is 69 kPa, delivering stable traction on compacted ground and moderate flotation on soft earth sites.
