    The Volvo EC380DL is a 38-ton class crawler excavator built for heavy-duty applications such as mining, large-scale earthmoving, and major infrastructure projects. Powered by the Volvo D13H engine delivering 215 kW (292 HP), it has an operating weight ranging from 37,800 kg to 41,100 kg depending on configuration, with a standard bucket capacity of 1.35–3.0 m³. It offers a maximum digging depth of 8,150 mm (26.7 ft) and a maximum digging reach of 11,720 mm (38.5 ft), with bucket digging force of up to 215 kN in power boost mode. Transport dimensions are approximately 11,330 mm (37.2 ft) in length, 3,340 mm (11.0 ft) in width, and 3,590 mm (11.8 ft) in height. Equipped with a 620 L fuel tank and Volvo's intelligent hydraulic system featuring automatic sensing work modes, flow combining, and priority functions, the EC380DL delivers 8–10% faster cycle times and 8–11% better fuel efficiency than previous models. Its heavy-duty reinforced boom and arm are built with high-strength steel for exceptional durability and reliability in the most demanding job site conditions.
