The Maude CFA Fire Brigade is offering its Brigade owned medium tanker for sale by open tender.
The tanker is a medium tanker and is mounted on a Hino GT1J single cab, four wheel drive cab chassis. The build date of the cab chassis is 02/2005 and the completed tanker was commissioned and brought into service in June 2006. The truck has a GVM of 13,900 kg and a GCM of 21,000 kg. The tanker has only travelled approximately 33,000 kms.
The tanker is fitted with a 6 speed manual transmission. Four wheel drive and high and low range are electrically selectable. Low range is only selectable in 4 wheel drive.
The tanker is fitted with a 3,000 litre water tank and a GAAM model MK300 two stage, high pressure, high flow water pump which is close coupled to a Hatz 2L40C two cylinder “Silent Pack” diesel motor. A FoamPro Class A foam injection/proportioning system is installed on the tanker.
The tanker is fitted with a Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) which accommodates three crew members (with seat belts) at the front of the crew deck on the truck body. Radiant heat protection curtains are installed in the truck cabin and in the ROPS on the crew deck and a water spray crew protection system is fitted to the tanker.
