    This 2006 Caterpillar 962G Series II is a high-hour working machine offered at an honest price that reflects its condition. At 23,534 hours it has clearly earned its keep, but it starts and runs well, hydraulics are strong, transmission pushes well, and it still puts in a full day's work. Transmission pushing well. Strong hydraulic response confirmed.
No oil leaks. Very dry machine throughout.
Starts and runs well.


Features

Pins and bushes showing reasonable wear consistent with age and hours. Serviceable.
Quick hitch fitted and piped. Note: hitch pins are currently welded. Machine can be converted to a functional quick hitch with two new hydraulic rams and fabrication work, or converted to a manual hitch with minimal effort.
Majority of lights operational.
Inspection and operational test welcomed prior to purchase.

Known defects

Cab and external panels have rust throughout. Surface rust and some penetrating rust present on all sheet metal.
Fuel gauge not operational.
Front windscreen wiper not operational.
Air conditioning not operational. No repair attempted.
Three tyres in decent condition. One tyre bald and will require replacement.
