The Cat 140K Motor Grader is powered by a Cat C7 ACERT engine, delivering 128 kW (171 hp) net power in first gear, and 143 kW (191 hp) in 4th–8th gears under VHP (Variable Horsepower) mode, with 46% torque rise. Typical operating weight is approximately 17.27 tonnes, with a blade width of 3.7 m, maximum digging depth of 735 mm, maximum ground-level lift height of 480 mm, blade forward tilt range of 40°, and backward tilt range of 5°. Equipped with a load-sensing hydraulic system and direct-drive powershift transmission for precise control. Optional autoshift transmission, ripper/scarifier, and AccuGrade grade control system are available.
