From its Perth and Brisbane locations, Office Relocation Solutions has completed relocation projects for the likes of the Australian Federal Police, the Museum of Brisbane, and the University of Queensland. Assisting in the safe, timely relocation of office, hospital, warehouse, factory, and other equipment is the firm’s seven-truck fleet of customised Isuzu trucks, the latest member being a new 2.7-metre (8.9-foot)-high Isuzu NNR 45-150 acquired from Major Motors Isuzu in Western Australia.
The Right Tool For The Job
“All our trucks have a full-size hydraulic tail lift, and inside the body, we have them fitted with a low track retaining system with spring-loaded bars and ratchet straps to hold everything in place during transit,” says Office Relocations Solutions General Manager Andrew Tait. “We also specified air suspension for relocation of fragile and sensitive items. We’re usually operating in buildings in the CBD with restricted height access, which is why I’ve gone with smaller trucks generally, so we can easily access those sites.”
“A Great All-Around Truck”
Office Relocation Solutions was founded in 2010. Its Isuzu fleet also includes an FRR 110-240 from Isuzu’s F Series and five other light-duty NPR and NNR trucks. Isuzu notes the NNR 45-150’s 4JJ1-TCS engine, which delivers 147.5 horsepower (110 kilowatts) and 375 newton-metres (276 pounds-foot) or torque at 2,800 rpm, helps Office Relocation Solutions get the job done.
“I’d worked with Isuzu before and enjoyed driving them, so it was a natural choice for me to stick with a brand I knew was reliable,” Tait says. “Isuzu are just a great all-round truck. They’re easy to drive, and maintenance is straightforward and simple. To be honest, we’ve had very few issues with our Isuzu trucks. My first NPR 200, which I purchased in 2010, is still running as smoothly as ever.”
