Made in Japan original
Komatsu PC450-8 is a large-class hydraulic excavator, a flagship model in Komatsu's Dash-8 series, renowned for its powerful performance, exceptional durability, and advanced technological features. It is primarily designed for heavy-duty applications in mining, quarrying, and large-scale construction projects.
1. Power and Efficiency: Komatsu SAA6D140E-7 Engine
The PC450-8 is powered by a robust and fuel-efficient Komatsu Tier 3/Stage IIIA compliant diesel engine.
· ECO Guidance System: An onboard system that advises the operator on the most efficient working patterns (e.g., boom, swing, and travel operations) to reduce fuel consumption and cycle times.
· Advanced Engine Management: Optimizes fuel injection and air intake for maximum power output with minimal waste.
2. Hydraulic System: CLSS (Closed Center Load Sensing System)
Komatsu's proprietary hydraulic system is a key feature, providing:
· Smooth and Powerful Control: Allows for precise, simultaneous movements of the boom, arm, bucket, and swing with minimal effort.
· Improved Fuel Efficiency: The system only delivers the hydraulic flow and pressure needed for the task, reducing energy loss.
· Auto-Deceleration: Automatically reduces engine speed when the controls are neutral, saving fuel.
3. Durability and Structural Integrity
Built for the toughest environments, the PC450-8 features:
· Reinforced Main Frame and Undercarriage: Designed to withstand high-stress loads and shock from heavy digging and lifting.
· Long-Life Components: X-shaped car body, reinforced boom and arm structures, and heavy-duty track links ensure a long service life with minimal downtime.
