Manheim Australia Auctioning More Than 30 Retired Fire Trucks As Another Scorching Summer Approaches

Manheim Industrial Australia is gearing up to sell a number of retired ex-government fire trucks and associated firefighting equipment commencing on October 8. 

Firefighting equipment up for grabs is located in Victoria and New South Wales, plus a smaller number in Tasmania and Queensland. Inspections are strongly recommended to ensure the asset is suitable to your specific application and budget. 

The headline act of this imminent auction’s consignment list are more than 30 Freightliner-, Hino-, Isuzu- and Mitsubishi-based firefighting trucks built between 1990 and 2003. 

These bright red workhorses have been very well-maintained and generally come with low mileage -- meaning they’re ready for their next assignment on the front line. 

“These trucks are maintained to an exceptionally high standard and are perfect for buyers such as remote property owners and businesses needing rapid fire contingency plans as we approach the summer months,” said Manheim Industrial Head of Council & Government Steffan Lancaster.

As well as the trucks, there are a number of Tempest and Smallaire Blowers, and a couple of separate firefighting units available.

• 10 Mitsubishi Canter compact fire trucks built between 1993 and 2003, all with under 35,000km on the odometer.
• 14 Isuzu F-series fire trucks, both single- and double-cab built between 1991 and 2002, with mileage as low as 10,811km showing.
• 10 Hino FT-series fire trucks built between 1990 and 1991, all with mileage under 80,000km indicated.
• One 1998 Freightliner FL80 double-cab fire truck with 66,426km showing.
• 16 Tempest T-series blower fans.
