Daimler Trucks Perth named 2017 Dealer of The Year

Posted On: Thursday, 8 March 2018

It’s always nice to get a little bit of recognition for a year of hard work, and that’s exactly what happened for Daimler Truck Perth as it was recently named the 2017 Daimler Truck and Bus Australia Pacific Dealer of the Year. The company’s Perth dealership stood out in particular because it excelled in growth, customer satisfaction, and overall sales. The event, which was held in Melbourne, Victoria, was obviously a big one for Daimler Trucks Perth, but it’s also a celebration of specific brands within the Daimler family, like Fuso, Freightliner, and Mercedes-Benz.

    Other Awards

Fuso, Freightliner, and Mercedes-Benz each handed out two Dealer of the Year awards, one for Regional Dealer of the Year and one for Metropolitan Dealer of the Year. Fuso awarded its 2017 Regional Dealer of the Year award to the Murwillumbah Truck Centre, Freightliner gave its to Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast, and Mercedes-Benz handed its over to Mavin Truck Centre Kempsey.

As for Metropolitan Dealer of the Year for each of the brands, Fuso gave its award to Whitehorse Truck and Bus, and showing why it deserved to get overall Dealer of the Year, Daimler Trucks Perth earned both Freightliner’s and Mercedes-Benz’s Metropolitan Dealer of the Year awards. Each award was presented to the Dealer Principal of each location; in Daimler Trucks Perth’s case, it was Sean Edwards collecting the hardware.

Many other awards were presented at the event, including awards focused on sales, service, and parts outsourcing. Daimler recognises that even though only one dealer could ultimately come out on top, it was important to also put a spotlight on a successful year for the corporation as a whole and to recognise the all-important ‘back of the house staff,’ according to the company.
