FatigueHACK
A major focus for Trucking Australia 2018 is driver fatigue, with an emphasis on finding new solutions to the problem. It is widely recognized that driver fatigue affects individuals differently, and the warning signs are not always easy to spot, so the ATA is encouraging mentors, teams, and individuals to attend TA2018 and come up with innovative new solutions for not only spotting symptoms of driver fatigue but also preventing accidents. The ATA points out that there are more than 195,000 people employed by the Australian trucking industry, so the stakes are rather high for finding meaningful answers to these long-standing questions.
