Hino caps service prices
Hino, a Tokyo-based manufacturer of commercial trucks and diesel engines, is giving customers in Australia another reason to buy its Euro 5-compliant trucks.
Keeping costs low
A major consideration for any fleet manager or operator looking to purchase one or more new vehicles is low cost of ownership, and predictable service costs. With new emissions regulations, however, compliant vehicles tend to include more moving parts and feature more complex systems, and as a result, require more frequent service stops.
Hino Australia has just announced that its light- to heavy-duty 300, 500, and 700 Series trucks compliant with the Euro 5 emissions regulations come with a capped price service program. New and existing customers get access to the program as a part of the Hino Advantage, which also offers an extended 5-year warranty, financial services, 24/7 roadside assistance, fleet training, and more. Hino also offers an unlimited kilometre warranty on Hino genuine parts installed by an authorized dealership or at one of Hino’s nationwide network of service centres.
Calculate your costs
In an effort to help you determine just how much the capped-price service program can save you, Hino has created a web-based calculator. Simply visit Hino’s Capped Price Service Calculator (http://www.hino.com.au/capped-price-service-calculator/) to determine how much an upcoming service interval will cost.
When using the calculator, start by inputting the exact model of Hino truck for which you’d like to receive a cost estimate. Choose your model (300, 500, 700 Series), then the range (standard cab, wide cab, or new wide cab), the specification, and finally the engine and transmission variant. The Hino capped price service quote shows the service prices in 10,000 kilometre and 6 month increments, including GST. There’s also a section at the bottom that points any exclusions, such as periodic air filter and desiccant replacements.
