Mercedes-Benz Vans Australia is celebrating 30 years of Sprinter van production with a special 30th Anniversary Edition model. The van features over $25,000 in premium features and boasts exclusive “SPRINTER30” graphics and styling, including a Pebble Grey paint scheme and stripes honouring Mercedes-Benz’s German roots.

The manufacturer says only 30 units will be sold in Australia, exclusively online through 1 October.

"The Sprinter has been a cornerstone of our success for decades, providing businesses and individuals with a reliable and versatile vehicle for every need," says Diane Tarr, managing director of Mercedes-Benz Australia. "This special edition is a tribute to the Sprinter's enduring legacy and a celebration of the adventurous spirit of our customers. We're excited to offer this unique vehicle, packed with features for life on the move."

    Three Decades Of Innovation

Introduced in 1995, the Sprinter is Mercedes-Benz’s top-selling van, representing roughly one in every two Mercedes-Benz vans purchased globally. The manufacturer produces Sprinters at four locations worldwide, making them available in more than 130 markets.

Notable milestones during the van’s 30-year history include:

    • The second-generation Sprinter’s launch in 2006 with multiple wheelbase, length, roof height, and weight options

    • Availability of the all-electric Mercedes-Benz eSprinter in 2024
